I Feel Like I've Got Snakes In My Head is already the third EP of Steven Casper & Cowboy Angst. And once more it’s an album that put a smile on your face. Opening with the western tune “for a Few dollars Less” Casper quickly goes into overdrive with Driving Fast. A pure Texas rocker that gets a reprise at the end of the EP through an acoustic version that is somehow even more impressing then the original one. Restless heart throws in some Tex Mex influences. Real Tex Mex sounds can be found on “Maria”. The latter really takes us on a trip to the border. The Sir Douglas quintet is never far away. She’s Bad is a true honky tonk tune that really put the gear back in fifth. Slow Dancing is the official closure of the album and a very nice ballad as well.

Steven Casper & Cowboy Angst , once more delivered a fine EP full of tunes that make my day. This is his third EP already and I know that people most likely prefer a full album instead of an EP but since the quality of each EP is getting better and better there is no reason to complain I suppose. Check this one out for sure as I Feel Like I've Got Snakes In My Head truly is a great EP.
