This one is a mixed bag! Some will say it’s a good film; others will say it is the worst film ever made by the man. The truth is, 1968 was a big year for Presley, since it is also the year of his comeback concert. For this reason alone one can’t blame him if he looks like he just don’t care.
Anyway the film is fun as usual and is full of feel-good moments. Half-breed rodeo star Joe Lightcloud (Elvis Presley) isn’t really the smartest guy in town and although he does have a handful of good ideas he is a danger to himself. Stolen Elvis Presley gun is recovered
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A handgun stolen from an exhibit during last week's commemoration of the 30th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death has been recovered.
Surveillance video showed a man reaching into a display case at the "Elvis After Dark" exhibit at Graceland, Presley's mansion, and removing a black, 9 mm Smith & Wesson pistol on Aug 14.
Travis Brookins turned the gun over to police Monday after the theft was reported by news media.
Brookins said he was cleaning portable toilets behind the exhibit hall last Thursday when he found the gun in the muck. Unaware the weapon had been stolen, Brookins took it home and cleaned ... continue reading

Second edition of this festival and the First time we made it over there.
The festival is held on a beautiful location very close to the Atomiuim., it’s open air, so luckily the weather was excellent. Persentation was donne by Frantic Frank and the music in between sets was provided by Dj Catsou.
So the afternoon started with the Million Dollars Sunrise, as you might suspect a tribute to the sun legends, like Elvis ( Patrick ), Johnny Cash ( Koen), Carl Perkins ( Marion), Jerry Lee Lewis ( Sebi Lee).Their play list of course consisted of covers only. Paul Anka does 'Classics' his way
Age has apparently mellowed Paul Anka. With his last CD, 2005's Rock Swings, the 66-year-old pop veteran raised eyebrows by performing tunes made famous by Nirvana, Soundgarden and Van Halen. But his latest project covers the softer turf of Billy Joel, Joni Mitchell and, well, Anka himself.
"I obviously didn't want to do Rock Swings II," says Anka.
So for Classic Songs, My Way, out Aug. 28, the former teen idol, whose own songwriting credits include one of Frank Sinatra's signature tunes and the theme for The Tonight Show, decided to "expand things a little. I wanted to take songs from different genres that I could turn into ballads."

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Under a scorching sun at Graceland, his beloved home, fans streamed by Elvis Presley's grave on Thursday, the 30th anniversary of the death of the king of rock `n' roll. It was, for most, a time to remember.
